The Carrier Roller, also known as Top Roller or Upper Roller, is installed above the track frame of the Case CX495 crawler excavator.

For a 50-ton class excavator, the undercarriage system operates under extremely high loads during travelling, digging and heavy-duty working conditions. The carrier roller supports the upper track chain, maintains correct chain alignment and helps reduce friction between moving components.

A worn or damaged carrier roller may cause:
