The Carrier Roller, also known as Top Roller or Upper Roller, is mounted above the track frame of the Doosan DX225 crawler excavator.

Its main function is to support the upper track chain and maintain correct chain alignment during travelling. By reducing friction between the track chain and undercarriage frame, the carrier roller helps improve travelling stability and extend the service life of the entire undercarriage system.
