The valve employs a direct-acting spring-and-poppet mechanism: under normal operating pressure the poppet remains seated; once pressure exceeds the pre-calibrated set point, the spring compresses, the poppet lifts, and excess flow is diverted to the return line until pressure drops below the reset threshold, at which point the valve re-seats tightly to prevent internal leakage. Each unit features a hardened valve seat with mirror-finished poppet, corrosion-resistant plated body, and a temper-stable spring set to the same relief pressure as the original XCMG specification—ensuring no need for field adjustment.
