The Carrier Roller, also known as Top Roller or Upper Roller, is installed above the track frame of the Kobelco SK200-3 crawler excavator.

Its primary function is to support the upper track chain and maintain correct chain alignment while the machine is travelling. A properly functioning carrier roller helps reduce friction, vibration and unnecessary wear throughout the undercarriage system.

A worn or seized carrier roller may result in:
