The Carrier Roller, also called Top Roller or Upper Roller, is mounted above the track frame of the Komatsu PC100 crawler excavator.

Its main function is to support the upper track chain and keep the chain running smoothly and in the correct position. A properly functioning carrier roller reduces friction and helps prevent abnormal track movement during travelling.
