 Purpose


The mining flameproof and intrinsically safe low-voltage vacuum feeder switch is suitable for use in underground coal mines with explosive risk, where methane gas mixtures may be present. The vacuum feeder switch is commonly used in underground coal mines within three‑phase, neutral‑point ungrounded power supply systems at AC 50Hz, rated voltages up to 1140V, and rated currents up to 1000A. It serves as a main switch or branch switch, and can also be used for infrequent starting control of large‑capacity motors. It provides protection for the power supply lines from the mobile substation to starters, motors, and loads in production operations. When networked, it can be integrated into mine monitoring and control systems to achieve automated control of power supply equipment.

  2. Equipped with a microcomputer‑based integrated monitoring and control device, featuring a large‑screen Chinese LCD display and menu‑driven operation. The display provides rich information and a user‑friendly interface. Together with the human‑machine operation keyboard, it allows modification of protection settings and various operations without power interruption.

  3. Capable of real‑time measurement and display of system parameters such as grid voltage, three‑phase current, insulation resistance, zero‑sequence voltage, zero‑sequence current, active power, reactive power, and power factor. It also displays fault type, fault parameters, and fault occurrence time, and features fault memory and query functions.

  4. Provides comprehensive protection functions including overload, short‑circuit, earth leakage, earth leakage lockout, overvoltage, undervoltage, phase loss, three‑phase imbalance, and overvoltage absorption.

  5. Features selective earth leakage protection, wind‑power and gas interlock, and electric energy metering functions.

  6. Equipped with a standard intrinsically safe RS‑485 communication interface. When integrated into a mine monitoring and control system, it enables "four‑remote" functions (telemetry, remote control, remote signaling, and remote adjustment), including remote opening/closing and remote meter reading, supporting unattended substation operation.

  7. The intrinsically safe keyboard allows convenient access to functions such as setting modification, protection testing, information query, and operating mode selection.

  8. Provides isolation functionality, allowing the switch body to be completely disconnected from the main circuit input/output terminals in the wiring compartment. After the door is opened, all circuits and components of the main body are safely de‑energized.
